KEBIASAAN YANG BIKIN JANTUNG KUAT


Jakarta, Jantung merupakan organ vital yang harus dijaga agar mampu bekerja optimal. Untuk itu ada 10 kebiasaan yang dapat dilakukan untuk memperkuat jantung. Apa saja itu?

Menjaga jantung agar tetap sehat bisa membantu menjaga organ-organ lain di tubuh bekerja dengan baik karena mendapatkan asupan darah dan oksigen yang cukup. Ada beberapa hal yang bisa dilakukan agar jantung tetap kuat, seperti dikutip dari Menshealth.com, Selasa (2/8/2011) yaitu:
1.     Berhenti merokok.
Memiliki kebiasaan atau pasangan yang merokok bisa meningkatkan 92 persen risiko serangan jantung. Hal ini karena asap rokok yang dihirup bisa meningkatkan kadar kolesterol jahat, menurunkan kolesterol baik dan meningkatkan penggumpalan darah.

2.    Olahraga 30 menit sebanyak 4 kali dalam seminggu.
Seseorang yang berolahraga 2 jam atau lebih dalam seminggu memiliki risiko 60 persen lebih rendah terkena serangan jantung dibanding orang yang tidak aktif.

3.    Menurunkan berat badan 5-10 kg.
Jika memiliki berat badan berlebih, maka menurunkan 5-10 kg bisa menurunkan risiko kematian akibat serangan jantung. Sebuah studi menemukan orang kelebihan berat badan mengalami serangan jantung 8,2 tahun lebih cepat dari orang yang berat badannya normal.

4.    Konsumsi 5 gelas air sehari.
Orang yang mengonsumsi air dengan cukup membantu mengurangi risiko serangan jantung fatal sebesar 52 persen. Hal ini karena air membantu mengencerkan darah sehingga mengurangi kemungkinan terjadinya pembekuan.

5.    Mengganti kopi dengan teh.
Teh mengandung antioksidan kuat yaitu flavonoid yang memberikan efek perlindungan, karenanya orang yang mengonsumsi teh berisiko lebih rendah terkena serangan jantung dibanding kopi.

6.    Mengonsumsi salmon pada hari Sabtu dan tuna pada hari Selasa.
Peneliti dari Harvard School of Public Health menuturkan konsumsi ikan 2 kali seminggu menurunkan risiko jantung hingga lebih dari 30 persen, karena adanya kandungan asam lemak omega-3.

7.     Mengonsumsi sereal jagung saat sarapan.
Sereal ini mengandung konsentrasi folat tertinggi (675 microgram) dibanding sereal lainnya. Asam folat diketahui bisa menguangi risiko penyakit kardiovaskular.


8.    Menghitung sampai 10.
Cobalah untuk menghitung angka 1-10 sebelum bereaksi terhadap situasi stres, karena membantu mendinginkan tubuh. Laki-laki yang sering marah-marah berisiko lebih tinggi memiliki penyakit jantung dan serangan jantung sebelum usia 55 tahun.

9.    Mengonsumsi semangka.
Semangka mengandung senyawa lycophene 40 persen lebih tinggi dibanding tomat merah mentah. Selain itu kandungan air yang tinggi dari semangka bisa membuatnya lebih mudah terserap tubuh dan mencegah penyakit jantung.

10.  Tanyakan dokter apakah perlu konsumsi vitamin E dan aspirin.
